Fulfilling one’s religious duty and feeding the poor at the time of Eid-ul-Adha
Qurbani (Udhiya) is not only a religious duty on Muslims ordained by Allah and practised by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions, but it is also a wonderful opportunity for Muslims to help their fellow humans who are suffering from abject poverty around the world. Last year in September 2018, through the generous contributions of our donors, Bismillah Aid was able to help provide more than 17,000 meals around the world to needy families at the time of Eid-ul-Adha. Bringing happiness and smiles to the faces of widows struggling to raise their children, old-aged people with disabilities facing hunger and children affected by disasters and wars. This year we once again will be organising the annual Qurbani/Udhiya initiative to help bring smiles through food at the time of Eid-ul-Adha 2019. This can only happen through your contribution. |
